GNOME 49 console new bug (?)

After upgrading from Gnome 48 to 49, the mouse wheel stopped working for scrolling back in the console (kgx).
However, it still works fine in other console apps (e.g. htop, mc, etc.), other terminals (e.g ptyxis) as well as in the desktop GUI.
Is this a known bug? Have you encountered it too?

Me too. I disabled the unlimited line buffering in the settings. Now it seems to work.
