Recently updated from 6.15.8.arch1-2 to 6.16.arch2-1 and now my laptop doesn't boot. I have an encrypted drive and the password prompt flashes for a split second before the panic happens.
The QR code points to here
For now I used a live USB to downgrade back to 6.15.8.arch1-2 and it's working fine.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I'll just blame btrfs.
Do you have integrity issues/warnings (on the older kernel - you might want to record those for a possible upstream bug!) and does scrubbing the FS help?
If it's not btrfs, I'll alternatively blame zswap - does it help to disable this?
You can install the LTS kernel next to the 6.16 one so you won't have to up- and downgrade for any tests.

Ok well I reinstalled 6.16 along with the LTS kernel and updated systemd-boot and now it boots fine. I did get 2 checksum errors when running a scrub which is a bit concerning, maybe I should've done a btrfs check before downgrading the kernel in the live USB. At least these 2 aren't on anything important.

Please make sure you're not running LTS kernel. When I installed -lts, it defaults to it on every boot.
Thank you.
